What Is 5052 H32 Aluminum?
5052-H32 aluminum has a temper of H32. This means it has been strain hardened to a 1/4 hard temper and thermally stabilized. Aluminum alloy 5052 in H32 temper has very good corrosion resistance to seawater and marine, atmosphere.
It is a medium to high strength alloy and a medium to high fatigue strength. Its strength is slightly higher than 5251
It also has very good weldability and good cold formability.

Alloy 5052 is not hardenable by heat treatment. So 5052 H32 can not be annealed.
To soften Alloy 5052 it can be annealed by heating to 345°C. hold until uniform temperature then cool. the rate of cooling is not important.
