1050 Aluminum Coil belongs to 1000 series pure aluminum coil. The content of aluminum is as high as 99.5%. The chemical composition and physical properties are similar to the 1060 aluminum coil alloy. They can be substituted for each other.

Characteristics

1. Low density, good electrical and thermal conductivity. Good corrosion resistance and good plastic processing performance

2. It can be used for gas welding, argon arc welding and spot welding.

3. It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. Cold deformation can increase its strength. The only form of heat treatment is annealing.

4. Long service life. It has a high recycling value.

5. The manufacturing process is mature and easy to mass-produce. Its price is lower than many other aluminum alloys.

1050 Aluminum Coil heat treatment

Complete annealing

Heating 390 ~ 430 °C, according to the thickness of materials, the holding time is controlled within 30 ~ 120 min, the furnace temperature is cooled to 300 °C at 30 ~ 50 °C/H, then air-cooled.

Rapid annealing

Heating 350-370 °C, according to the thickness of materials, the holding time is controlled within 30 ~ 120 min. Then air-cooled or water-cooled
