Description

5754 aluminum coil is a typical 5-series aluminum-magnesium anti-rust alloy. Because alloy component Mg, has excellent corrosion resistance, rust resistance, high fatigue strength, good weldability and workability.

It has a wide range of uses, especially in the construction industry, which is inseparable from this alloy. It is the most promising alloy. The 5754 aluminum alloy is widely used in high-speed rail noise barriers, tanker fuel tanks, high-grade alloy doors and windows, car roof/bottom guards, ship structures and offshore facilities.

5754 aluminum coil is also a non-heat-treated alloy. Use cold working to improve its mechanical properties. As a wrought alloy, it can be formed by rolling, extrusion and forging. But not through casting.

Heat treatment

Homogenization annealing
Heating at 440 °C for 12 ~ 14 hours: Air Cooling.

Rapid annealing
Heating 350 ~ 410 °C holding time 30 ~ 120 min air or water cooling.

High temperature annealing
When the temperature is 350 ~ 420 °C and the thickness of the finished product is more than 6mm, the holding time is 2 ~ 10min. When the thickness of the finished product is less than 6 mm, 10 ~ 30 min; air cooling.

Low temperature annealing
Heating 250 ~ 300 °C or 150 ~ 180 °C for 1 ~ 2 h, air cooling.
